“Me, my wife and my parents went on the Tongariro alpine crossing and our guide was Tai. We had a wonderful time climbing and descending the crossing and seeing all the amazing places that nature had to offer. We were particularly satisfied with Tai as our guide. Firstly Tai always had a good mood and a positive attitude. He cared about the group and made the walk feel safe. Secondly, he shared Maori traditions and knowledge, pointing out and explaining the different sacred places and telling stories. This made the trip feel special and it was an honor to share the Maori heritage. Thirdly the trip was well organised and good gear and food was provided. 

I would strongly recommend the Tongariro alpine crossing and chosing Tai as your guide. If you like history and taking part in traditions as well as having a laugh now and then, Tai is your guy!”
